The dramatic views of the Exmoor countryside from my room were breathtaking. Enjoying a relaxing evening by the gorgeous pool was a perfect way to unwind.

The staff was friendly and welcoming.
Our stay was unfortunately marred by a poorly designed bathroom with an exposed window, making it impossible to feel comfortable during wash times. The bed was made of two singles pushed together, leading to an uncomfortable sleeping arrangement that ruined our rest. We spent the night tossing and turning, waking up tired and disappointed, which overshadowed any positive aspects of our visit.

We loved the beautiful garden view from our room. The kids had a blast playing table tennis at the hotel, which was a fun plus. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our family stay enjoyable.
In my wife’s opinion, the rooms need updating to better suit families.

Relaxing in a stunning setting, the large bath in our room offered beautiful views that made our brief stay unforgettable. Mark’s attentive hospitality at breakfast, complete with the best scrambled eggs I’ve had, truly enhanced the experience. The peaceful pool, ideally situated in the Exmoor countryside, provided a perfect retreat after a day exploring local pubs.

The Deluxe King Room was pretty sweet! The bed was comfortable and the views from the window were stunning. The room was spacious and clean, really nice vibe. Good size bath too, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Only downside was that the restaurant wasn’t open for dinner, but no biggie. an enjoyable stay!

We had an absolute blast enjoying the lovely pool and chilling in the beautiful Exmoor countryside. The breakfast was top-notch, setting us up for the day. The friendly staff truly rolled out the welcome mat!
The bathroom situation was quite dodgy—exposed window meant no washing without feeling like a reality show. Plus, the double bed was two singles in disguise, not cool.

Charming Stay with Exceptional Dining
My family and I had a delightful stay in the Studio Apartment, where the charm of the building’s former grandeur truly impressed us. The detailed decor added to its romantic vibe, and the dinner was a highlight with an excellent menu and inviting wines. It was a little tricky to find, but once we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel right at home. One area to improve would be better signage leading to the property.

We absolutely loved our weekend break! The lovely pool was just perfect for relaxing, and I enjoyed a magical massage while my partner tried the steam room. The only hiccup was the shower took a while to warm up, but it didn't spoil our time—definitely check it out! ☀️

Had an awesome time with friends! We played table tennis and ping pong, and the vibe was totally relaxed. The staff were helpful, and the facilities are well-maintained. Perfect for group trips and a great spot to unwind!
The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which was pretty slow at times, making it hard to stream or work.

Unique garden view from the rooms created a nice atmosphere for relaxing moments. The property has a charming facade that adds a certain character and allure to the overall experience, giving it a quaint, homey vibe.
The mattress quality dropped the stay from pleasant to painful, as the beds were two singles pushed together, each with broken springs that left both of us sore and sleepless. the exposed bathroom window felt intrusive, leaving no privacy while showering, which is something that can certainly put a damper on your stay. While breakfast options were available, the price didn't quite match the quality or variety offered, making it feel overpriced. The shower was temperamental at first and lacked basic amenities like conditioner, which could affect your overall comfort. Parking to charge an electric car was a hassle since it involved turning off appliances, which added unnecessary stress before heading out.
